This readme file is a general content description for this CD-ROM.  More detailed readme files
exist for most applications offered on this disk.  See below for their locations.  

NOTE:  These instructions assume the D:\ drive is your CD-ROM.


NOTE:  The Adobe Acrobat Readme files mentioned below are available in both English and German
	versions. The English file is at D:\Readme.pdf and the German file is at D:\Readmegm.pdf.
	
	This CD-ROM contains the Adobe Acrobat Reader used to view PDF files.  To install, click
	on the setup file found at D:\adobe\ar32e301.exe.  For more information on this program
	(i.e. copyright issues) please refer to www.adobe.com.


1.  PIIX4 Patches for Win95 - This is a patch file that removes exclamation and question marks
	from the Device Manager Screen found at the following pathway
	Start/Settings/Control Panel/System/Device Manager.  This patch is 
	for asthetic purposes as there are no bugs associated with the 
	exclamation and question marks.

	The pathname for the execution file is D:\!remover\Px4patch.exe
	You can autorun this program by clicking on the PIIX4 Patches for Win95 button
	in the Chaintech Setup Utility.

	There is a readme file associated with this patch.  It can be found at D:\!remover\readme.txt
	There is also a second readme file with the same amount of information found in Section 4-3
	of the Adobe Acrobat file at D:\Readme.pdf.

2.  Shepard - This is a System Health Monitor Utility written and offered by Chaintech Computer
	Corporation.

3.  PIIX4 Drivers for Win95 - These are mainboard drivers supplied by your mainboard manufacturer.

	The pathname for the execution file is D:\Ide95\Setup.exe.
	You can autorun this program by clicking on the PIIX4 Drivers for Win95 button
	in the Chaintech Setup Utility.

	There is a detailed readme file associated with this driver.  It can be found at 
	D:\ide95\Readme.  A less detailed readme file is located in Section 4-1 of the Adobe
	Acrobat Readme file at D:\Readme.pdf.
 
4.  Trend Antivirus Utility - This is a PC-cillin anti-virus utility that is written in eight
	different languages (English, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, German,
	Korean, French.) 

	The pathname for the execution file is D:\PCcillin\Your Language\Setup.exe
	(Type the language you will use in place of "Your Language")	
	You can autorun this program by clickin on the Trend Antivirus Utility button in the 
	Chaintech Setup Utility.
			
	There is a readme file at D:\pccillin\readme that gives limited information about the 
	contents of the Trend Antivirus Utility.


5.  PIIX4 Drivers for NT4.0 - These are mainboard drivers provided by your mainboard manufacturer.
	The pathname for the execution file is D:\Ident\Setup.exe.
	You can autorun this program by clicking on the PIIX4 Drivers for Win95 button
	in the Chaintech Setup Utility.

	There is a detailed readme file associated with this driver.  It can be found at 
	D:\ideNT\\Readme.  A less detailed readme file is located in Section 4-1 of the Adobe
	Acrobat Readme file at D:\Readme.pdf.

The CD-ROM also contains the following software that is not included in the Chaintech Setup 
	Utility.  The pathnames for the installation files are written below.



A.  DMI Utility - This is a desktop management interface utility.  For an in-depth explanation of the
	DMI utility see Section 4-5 of the Adobe Acrobat Readme file at D:\Readme.pdf. 


B.  Flash Utility - This utility allows you to update your mainboard's BIOS.  See instructions for use
	of this utility in Section 4-4 of the Adobe Acrobat Readme file at D:\Readme.pdf.

C.  OS/2 Bus Master IDE driver is located at D:\ideOs2.

D.  Information about USB driver installation can be found in Section 4-2 of the Adobe Acrobat
