I would like to offer special thanks to Karen, Jim and Anne-Marie Feeney, John and Joyce Mosby and Rupert and
Rose Bowman for their patience with me during this week.
Although this game is my own work, I cannot take credit for the ideas which inspired it. Some of the RPG designers
who deserve credit for influencing this games through their own work include: Fred Hicks who through Don’t Rest
Your Head showed me a dice pool can serve as a timing mechanic and a health pool, Paul Tevis who’s A Penny For
My Thoughts was never far from my mind, and Cam Banks and Josh Roby’s Smallville w hich showed me the
importance of relationships and reminded me that the best stats aren’t always the obvious ones.
My biggest thanks to any game designer have to go to Brennan Taylor (author of Mortal Coil ) who when confronted
by a fan at a convention blathering about his aspirations to some day create his own game, was both patient and
helpful - he even signed my copy of his book. Without you guys this game would probably never exist.
